Overcharge

Your company overcharged me a car wash, I was for 3 car washes and when I brought it to their attention they gave the number to customer service, which gave me codes for 3 car washes which came back as invalid. The asst mgr at the Grand Rapids car wash said he didnt want to deal with it, so when I call back customer service wants me Visa card number. Which I do not feel comfortable giving them all I want is my money back.

Scammed at Zips car wash

I was told that my card on file was invalid and they needed a different account so I gave them a different card and 6-8 month's later saw I was being billed twice for the same car!! I called to get a refund and they only gave me two months back.

I have complained that the BBB and my credit card I am still working on getting my refund.

I believe this is not an accident and this is a scam that they are running. If you google the complaints theres over 1000 complaints on the BBB plus theres news channels that have been investigated about fraud going on nationwide at zips car wash, this business needs to be shut down!

Aggressive sales person has one lane blocked off with a cone. I pull up in the other lane and he sells me on a $20 charge to my credit card for 2 months of unlimited carwash. At no time does he mention that in the third month I would be charged $50 a month as a recurring charge forever. I'll never, ever go back to a zip car wash. In this day and age I don't know why anyone would let a stranger scan their credit card. I guess it could have been a lot worse. By the way, it took me almost an hour on the phone to cancel this membership that I didn't want in the first place.

BEWARE……

To say I am completely disgusted would be an understatement. I took both my new Volvo and Kia Seltos through Zips on Sharkey way in Lexington Kentucky just prior to Christmas.

There was about a 3 hour difference in when we took our white Kia through vs. our black Volvo. leaving the business with the Volvo around 3:30 in the afternoon, I went directly to a hair appointment. Upon getting out of the car the damage was visibly noticeable.

My hood looks like it was peppered with white paint flecks. There are hundreds if not thousands of micro specs. I went home to show my wife directly after my appointment. We drove directly over to Zips.

I asked they pull all camera footage to prove or disprove any damage prior to entering the bay, and upon exit. After looking over the car throughly with a Zips employee, you can see there are partially circular swirl marks from the overhead spinning attachment on the hood, across the back, and the driver tail light is all scratched up. Those micro specks that look like paint are actually chips out of our paint on our vehicle. The Zips employee called his boss and advised of the situation.

Apparently, they have been operating without working cameras. No footage could be pulled. Pictures were taken and a claim made. The employee agreed the damage clearly appeared to be a direct result of the bay attachment.

We received a denial of our claim about a week later. I called corporate to advise of the situation and they created another claim. We were told to expect a call within 5 business days. Well, no call as of yet.

This is horrible customer service and we will not let this go. I am not the type of person to cause a disturbance for any business, but being in the customer service industry on the corporate side of things for many years, right is right and wrong is wrong. Accept responsibility and do right by your customers. Our car looks like it has been driven through a battle field.

The Kia is the same way. However, I am not looking for anything on the Kia as that car is white and you can't tell unless you get at eye level and look.

We are not willing to let this go and I will be contacting the local media. Something needs to be done.

Dissatified

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I'm typically not one to write reviews, but my experience with Zips Car Wash has left me utterly frustrated and angered. They have been nothing short of a massive disappointment.

Let me share my ordeal; for the past two years, I've been a regular user of their service and held a monthly subscription, paying $35 via a monthly debit to my credit card. In those two years, everything went smoothly until, out of nowhere, I was informed that my car was not allowed due to my low-profile roof rack a common feature on many vehicles today. This was news to me as I had never been informed of any issue with my roof rack before.

Despite my irritation, I accepted this and, considering I could no longer use their service, I requested a refund for the payment I had made just days before. Shockingly, my request was denied, although they did confirm the cancellation of my subscription.

While not the outcome I desired, I begrudgingly accepted it, attributing it to poor customer service. However, the story doesn't end there.

The very next month, as if on cue, they once again billed my credit card for the monthly subscription. Frustrated, I contacted customer service, and they assured me a credit would be issued to my card. To my dismay, that credit never materialized.

Upon reaching out again, I was informed that my refund request was denied. When I reminded them that my subscription had been cancelled, they demanded proof proof I had provided the last time I spoke with them. The runaround from customer service continued. Despite two assurances that my request for a refund would be elevated and someone would contact me, no such contact ever occurred.

Frustrated with the lack of resolution, I had to resort to blocking them from future requests for payment on my credit card and submitting disputes for the two denied refunds.

I absolutely would not recommend this business. Its located in Greensboro, NC.

I was at the one at 4860 cane run rd in Louisville ky today. When the guy who guides u in had me pull up after he started My wash, the yellow bumper started rubbing my tires. Because of his incompetence, it rubbed my new tires I just bought right before I washed my car. I laid on my horns several times he didn't hear anything because he had ear buds in his ears. I told him that's a safety hazard for the customer, it could have been something really serious and I couldn't get his attention. He says so what's your issue besides that I told his *** that was enough. Very unprofessional.

Refund

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

I have been trying to talk to someone from zips car wash for a whole month now. They do not have a customer service number that you can call.

You can only chat with someone. The person that I speak to I have to keep asking can you please speak slower so I can understand you because they are foreign. I got my zips sticker and my license plate stolen. Plus my gas tank handle and the antenna on the car, which has nothing to do with this, but Im just stating stating this for that records.

In order for me to get a refund on the charge they want the sticker number and my license plate number in addition to other things. I dont even know my license plate number and I dont have a sticker anymore. I provided them with my first and last name, the city in which I purchased the membership, and my card information.

I have not gotten a resolution. This is not 0K.

I am trying to cancel my membership but am not able to do so. I called the number on my credit card billing statement and was informed I needed to go to the car wash. At the car wash, I was directed to a web site. On the web site I was given a phone number. I called the number and got no answer. My bill is charging double what it should. I want to cancel my membership.

Zips car wash is a scam! I canceled 2 of my 3 memberships, and I had receipts from the store, yet they charged me the next month.

I then had to go through customer service and cancelled all 3 in November, only to be charged again in December.

I had to get my credit card company involved and remove Zips from being able to further charge my card. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HORRIBLE COMPANY!

It's a scam. Stay away. I'm more than willing to pay for a car wash, but this was just a scam and I'm never going near this place again.

Zips are scammer

I went to Zips car wash zip code 37919 and here is my experience,

1- I was told to pay $12 as today's offer, no strings attached and need to sign up for a document. I didn't pay attention as I thought it was just safety document.

I washed the car myself and get out of the place.

3 months later, I found out that I was paying $45 per month for a membership that I didn't approve of.

I went to the shop to cancel the membership but I was told that they're no longer doing it and I need to call a number 855-947-****.

I was told to ask for a refund if I didn't use the service.

I called twice and basically was told that I am no longer can get a refund because the document I signed (which I thought it's for safety) is not allowing me to get a refund even if I didn't use the service.

Imagine paying $147 for one time car wash that you end up doing it yourself.

I would suggest not to sign for any documents over there unless you read it through. Customer service are scammer and don't provide help, they rip you off and they knew it.

Overall the experience was so lame unfortunately Sarcastic

Same thing happened to me.

Samiyah Yrh

they are a scam! same here - signed up for a $10/month membership for first 2 months - then can cancel at any time.

My 1st month they billed me $25!!! I went to the store - the guys there were absolutely oblivious to what going on - told them I called the 800 number and they said they tried too and won't even answer to their employees!

Long story short, called my credit card company and canceled their payment and luckily got a full refund. Hoping they don't try charging me again next month
